Two is better than one

A friend of mine asked me to make coin pouches, in red and black colors. I don't have those colors in my stash, so i had to buy some (excuse for shopping! yeay!)

And I found a lovely stripey pattern in black and red.

Once in a while, the house is full and lively

I had a nice family gathering last weekend! My sisters came home and the house was full and lively :)

Usually it's just me and my mom on weekends. Very quiet.

We had chicken balck pepper, mi kuah, potato wedges, sausages, chocolate cake, mango juice and ice cream! Yum!

Whenever my sisters come home, I would show them my latest sewing product (for them to buy from me..hahaha) .. and these are the latest sale I made..hehe..

Really nice fabric. A little close-up, but I only have a point-and-shoot camera, so it's a bit blurry.

A friend of mine told me she was interested in one of the zipper pouch I made for sale, and the patchwork scrunchie too :). Then we decided to meet yesterday (with a few other friends as well) so I can give her the pouch instead of mailing it, since we don't live that far away from each other. (Besides, remember what happen when I said I will mail the bag to a friend but never did? In the end I still gave her by hand..huhuhu...)

My friend asked me to bring all the pouches and scrunchies, so I decided to make some more...and moreeeee... So typical of me. I was going to meet four of my friends, so I made enough for everyone..hehe...and moreeeee....

I was kinda embarrassed to show my friends the stuffs, because I don't actually have the confidence to sell things. What's more, these are the stuffs I made myself. But my friends like them! And bought a lot! Yeay!

This afternoon, I went out with my best friend. I showed her the remaining items, and she also bought a lot! Yeay!

I can't believe I actually sold a lot. Thank you, my friends, for the support! Hope you girls like the bags and scrunchies.

This makes me wanna make moreeee....weeeee....

Something purple with gold lines

I don't like big purses. I like a small purse that I can stuff everything inside. I like zippered purses because I like putting my handphone inside, and sometimes my keys too :)

Usually the design that I like is too expensive because...it's just a zippered pouch! Why is it so pricey??

So I had to made one myself...

Tadaaaa....

I found a nice velvety PURPLE fabric at the remnant section! Yeay for cheap beautiful fabric! I even made one of the corner a bit round, just for variety :)

Inside is the sweetest pale pink polkadots ever! Yummy!

I made 2 card slots, 2 money slots and 1 slot to put whatever :)

Can even stuff my handphone inside. Yeay..

I still think it's too big when I hold it in my hand. It's almost the same size as a CD case.

But I totally love the soft velvety feel, and the three gold lines :)

Online fabric purchase and what I made with them

My first fabric online purchase was at Fabric Fanatics.

This blogshop has a variety of cute fabrics, seriously cute fabric. What made me insterested was, the seller sells fabric sample pack...and I bought A LOT :)

So what did I do with those fabric samples?

Well, mass-produce of course! Lots and lots of zipper pouch!
