Fabric covered buttons

Finally met up with my friend and hand her this bag! :)

We had a nice time today. A nice lunch and some shopping and window shopping, and we never stopped chatting the whole time! hehe..girls..

I have always liked the fabric covered buttons I found in the internet.

Today, we went to Daiso and I found a covered button kit! Yeay!

But the size is very large, king size :D (It said so on the kit. King size!)

See? Larger than a 50 cent coin.

But I bought them anyway..hehe..so typical.

1 kit and some refills. Total are 8 buttons.

I finished 'em all in a matter of minutes.

It's kind of addictive, you know.

I haven't decided what to do with these lovelies yet :)

Maybe make a necklace like this? Or maybe a charm?
Endless possibilities :)

I will get more soon. My friend and I decided to meet again when we got our salary later this month. Then, we can do some serious shopping :D

Too many buttons but just for show

I am easily attracted to colourful things :)

There is this shop near my house which sells wedding supplies, but it also sells some sewing supplies. From time to time, I would go there to buy some zippers, threads, laces, etc.

Once, I needed some big buttons for my project. The ones I liked only comes in black and white. But they have a lot of other button in different shapes, sizes and colour. It became a habit of mine to but some button eventhough I don't need them..hehe..

Thus, in time, I have too many button.

So, I bought this.

Tadaaa....

What is it? It's a button organizer.

Well, not really. It's a plastic box with partitions.

I'm using it to store my colorful buttons :)

Yes, they do.

I think my fabric/button/lace stash has become too much to handle. Hehe.

I've decided to buy no more. No more buying, ok. 

Just continue to sew with what I've got in hand right now.

Hopefully I can stick with that.
